March

We're on winter's home stretch and we've all got a bad case of Spring Fever. Can you tell??
On the other hand we sure will miss the hot chocolate!

Big Boy Haircut

This Saturday we took the boys to get haircuts and for the first time Cal got more than just a trim around the ears. She used the clippers on the bottom and cut it pretty short on top. There was so much hair on the ground! He looks so grown up now :)

Toy Boxes

My Uncle Fletcher is a wonderful craftsman. This year for Christmas he surprised the boys with handmade toy boxes. They are absolutely beautiful! The boxes are square and printed with the Boy Scout Law. The tops pull completely off and have a checker/chess board on one side and a Tic Tac Toe board on the other with their initials in the center. They are deep enough to hold all their bigger bulkier toys and fit perfectly into their rooms next to their little arm chairs.
These toy boxes are so special and will easily be something each boy can use forever. Thank you so much Uncle Fletcher for your thoughtfulness and hard work!!

Tyler is 4!

Is that right? Can it truly be 4 years since our little man was born? He's gone from our sweet newborn to our handsome, funny, independent, little guy. Here are his 4 year stats:
weight: 38lbs--68th percentile
height: 3ft 3.5in--31st percentile
This year he wanted a Toy Story theme for his party. He had a blast running around with his cousins and the Axe boys. Thanks to everyone for his great presents! Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

Happy Hog Day!

First thing this morning we were greeted with "Happy Hog Day"!!

For Christmas one of Tyler's gifts was his very own calendar. He's always asking what day it is, what we're doing, if Daddy has to work or has a game so we thought he'd enjoy keeping track of it on his own. His calendar came with a magnet for every imaginable holiday and event. When we were setting his calendar up for February he was very intrigued with Groundhog Day or Hog Day as he calls it. We looked it up online and even watched a video of Phil doing his prediction. Here's to an early spring!!
