Baptized!

This Sunday Jim made it known publicly that he'd given his life to Jesus Christ and was baptized! The baptism was held at a lake outside and hundreds upon hundreds of people turned out to watch over 700 people get baptized. What an incredible day! Words cannot express how happy I am for Jim and how proud I am that he took this next step in his faith. I love you honey!!
Below are pictures and a short video. Please pardon the loud cheering from the videographer at the end!! :)

Golf Outing

This past Sunday Jim took Tyler to play his first 9 holes of "real golf". Cal and I were in charge of the cart and snacks. Tyler was thrilled to be playing on a real course with his dad. A good time was had by all!

Slides, Waves and Water!

Jim took off the last half of the week and we took advantage by having some fun family outings. On Friday we went to our local water park for the first time and had a blast! It has a great play area for little kids, plus a wave pool, lazy river and some fun slides. Tyler was our little daredevil and was pretty bummed he was too little for the big slides. Jim and I took turns on the slides but the wave pool (or whale pool as Cal says) was the hit of the day for the boys! We can't wait to go back again soon!

4th of July

This 4th of July we had some neighbors and friends over to grill out and celebrate. It was HOT, even for this Texas girl, so we had 2 pools set up and lots of other water toys out to keep the kiddos cool. When the sun started to set Jim and Joe let off some fireworks and all the kids did sparklers. We had such a great time! We are so lucky to have such great friends and neighbors!

Pool!

It's been a hot summer so far and we've been enjoying the use of our community pool. Here are some pics of the boys when we went with our neighbor Kaia a few weeks ago.
