A Decision has Been Made

Blogging Hiatus

I'm sure you've noticed the blog is missing the ending of 2012 (including all major holidays) and has yet to pick up in the new year. "Will she ever blog again??" you might be thinking. The answer: I'm not sure. I've been considering if I will continue the blog or switch to a different form of photo sharing, a la Smugmug. I promise to decide soon and break the suspense. Then it will be a deluge of backed up photos so get ready!

Texas Trip

In mid October the boys and I headed down to Texas for a quick visit. My mom, dad and stepmom were throwing my sister a wedding reception for all the friends and family who couldn't make the trip to Ireland. While we were only there for 3 days we packed a lot in. The boys got to meet and hang out with their Uncle Alan for the first time, we spent time with almost every member of my family, visited with my dear friend Jennifer and her two girls and met my step sister's new twin daughters. Phew!  Here are some pictures :)

Carving Pumpkins

Last Saturday we braved the chilly morning for some outdoor pumpkin carving. After the boys finished dictating theirs to Jim they abandoned us for the warm house and hot chocolate. I think they turned out cute! This year we roasted pumpkin seeds for the first time. They're one of Jim's favs and Calvin's, too, we discovered.
